NUBE9 IS AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE BRAND WITH A MISSION TO INSPIRE CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RESPONSIBLE FASHION.
WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF ART TO MAKE A STATEMENT, THE VITALITY OF STYLE TO SPREAD THE CONVERSATION AND THE UNIVERSALITY OF SPORTS TO BE A DISRUPTION.
Our first comprehensive street collection was created in collaboration with artist and activist Chris Jordan. Chris Jordan’s ongoing series “Running the Numbers” uses imagery to represent statistics of sobering and critical events happening to our environment on a global scale. To the individual, these stats can seem daunting, but Jordan’s images make them personally compelling, hopefully turning them into fuel for courageous individual and collective action.
Every Nube9 garment is designed and prototyped in Seattle and made in Los Angeles by Nube9 sewers in our Montebello studio. Our dye sublimation process uses inks sourced in the U.S. and allows us to work with artists and designers to create graphics unique to our line and mission. We're also committed to closed-loop manufacturing - when consumers and teams are finished with our pieces, they can return them to us to be recycled into new fabrics.
Intended to move you from game to street, our collection is made from high-performance polyester milled in Los Angeles. That polyester is derived from U.S.-sourced, recycled, post-consumer plastic water bottles: Each of our garments keep between five and 36 plastic water bottles from reaching our landfills and oceans.
